Just a year ago, when 2014 was right around the corner, I couldn't have been more enthralled. 2013 was a tough year for me (a year I deemed "The Year of Lessons) and I was hoping 2014 would bring about some positive change in my life. There were definitely some great moments (Photo shoots, LLNSTO, Performances) but as always, the good has to bring along the bad. Ultimately I'm just thankful to be here and I'm thankful that I still have the strength to push forward and continue making my dreams into realities. There is so much I have yet to do and I'm excited for what the future holds! We're almost done filming LLNSTO and when I tell you the rest of the season is crazy…that is a SUPER understatement. Episodes will be resuming shortly, so please stay tuned. THANK YOU to everyone who is watching and enjoying the show! I appreciate all the love and support and hope to see more of you in the new year. In regards to my music, I'm in another transition phase. I've come to a point in my music career where every move I make has to be significantly better than the last for me not to feel stagnant. Therefore, there will be new music coming…but I have to make sure I'm doing something bigger and better than what I've already done. I'm super critical of my rhymes and flow now so everything has to be as close to perfect as I can make it before I put it out. Don't worry though! A lot of things are in the works and you may see some of the results sooner than you think! The last thing I wanted to touch on are New Years Resolutions. I know a lot of people roll their eyes at this point because they've seen friends, family or co-workers make resolutions and never go through with them. Regardless of this, I don't think anyone should judge people who make resolutions IF they truly want to make a change in their life. I definitely have my own resolutions, but I'm going to go out and make them happen before I announce them. I think the most important thing is not making resolutions, but taking active steps towards making those resolutions real! If you have resolutions going into 2015, keep them close to your heart until they are ready to be set free. I'm an idealist, and therefore I know what it's like to come up with huge plans that seem amazing in your head but become extremely difficult to come true in real life. Nevertheless, make some goals and plan to make them happen. You never know, you may even surprise yourself! Anyways, I hope you have a Happy New Years surrounded by those who love and care about you. Be safe tonight, and don't be scared to walk into the new year with a hopeful grin and some goals in mind.
